Designing a budget weekend house for a family of 5 could often be tricky. Not only do all members of the family (parents as well as their children) have very different needs and demands because of the differences between generations, but the problem of designing and building a high-quality well-designed home (what all the clients in different states of wealth want) basically limits the options of the architect. The solution here was to ask the client (the father) and his family members to come to the office for several meetings to collaborate in the design process.
In this regard, the result for us was brilliant: we did not exceed the budget limit the project did not look humble and poor at all, and at the same time, everyone was happy with their own room. Besides the public spaces and facilities like the pool the vast space of the hall and the open kitchen on the ground floor, there is a cozy private living room on the mezzanine of the second floor which provides a friendly gathering space for all to socialize and sometimes barbecue. Moreover, this space has a great view of the valley and the river in front of the property.
